Well, for me the fading wasn't the biggest problem.
For me it sounds hollow, because it plays half the sound on one side of the earphone, and the other part on the other side, making it sound a bit screwed up.
And some sounds play much harder that others making it unbalansed. At least that's how I hear it now...

I should've been clearer about that in the news post...

Might be that it's a hardware problem and that it just sounds different for ppl with different types of headphones...

So I dunno...
